Donations made for The River Why are used for the production and treated, in a sense, like an investment.

A pro rata share of revenues is recycled to other non-profits—particularly environmental programs that support rivers and fish.

Recipients will be chosen by a board of donors.

This is a win-win for the movie and for the non-profits: it raises awareness – and financial support for both.

We hope to include “extras” about the non-profits that receive donations on the DVD when it is released.
