John graduated from Harvard and Harvard Law School where he gathered material for his first novel, The Paper Chase, which was adapted to the feature film of the same name—garnering three Oscar nominations.

Since its publication, he has written several other novels including The Associates, which became an ABC television series.

Mr. Osborn has written television scripts for a variety of network shows, including L.A Law, and was nominated three times for cable TV’s ACE awards for scripts he wrote for Showtime and 20th Century Fox’s Paper Chase.
